IN A right royal coup for the BBC, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are going to star in a special EastEnders episode to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee anniversary.
In one of the best-kept secrets in television, the BBC announced last night that Charles and Camilla will appear in a "history-making", Jubilee-themed episode - playing themselves at a Walford street party.
Actress Kellie Bright's Linda Carter, who hosts them at a party, said they were "amazing sports".
In 2001, the Queen visited soap queen Dame Windsor, who played Barbara Peggy Mitchell, on the EastEnders set.
The behind the bar of the Queen Vic, royal visitor stepped strolled around Albert Square and through the street market, meeting stars of the show.
