SHEFFIELD UNITED captain John Egan reckons Erling Haaland is already one of the greatest strikers in Premier League history.

Egan faced the Manchester City star in last season’s FA Cup semi-final, when Pep Guardiola’s men won 3-0 and went on to achieve a glorious Treble as Haaland hit 52 goals in his debut campaign in England.
Republic of Ireland defender Egan marked some leading forwards during the Blades’ previous stint in the Premier League between 2019 and 2021.
Yet the defender insisted: “With Haaland’s goal record from last season, he’s already in that bracket for me as a Premier League great.
“I’ve played against the likes of Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero and they are obviously up there.
