ily. Joel Sheldon tragically died in hospital the day after being hit by a Vauxhall Corsa on Lower Bents Lane, in Bredbury.

Emergency services attended the scene at 10.20pm last Friday, June 20, near The Greyhound pub. It's believed Joel, who was a pedestrian, was hit by the car as it was travelling in the direction of Redhouse Lane.

Joel was rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition, but died the following day despite the best efforts of medics.
