Road to close next week for work on surface

Four separate sections of the A84 are to be subject to road closures as surface improvement works are carried out.

BEAR Scotland, working on behalf of Transport Scotland, is to carry out the essential works at four locations of the A84 trunk road, by Loch Lubnaig, north of Callander.
The surfacing works will begin at 7pm on Tuesday, June 24, at the southern end of Loch Lubnaig and are scheduled for completion by 5am on Saturday, July 19, at Ardchullarie More.
Road closures will be in place at the locations during the works. The first phase will be carried out on the A84 south end of Loch Lubnaig from 7pm on Tuesday, June 24, until 5am on Friday, June 27.
Work will then progress and be carried out from 7pm on Sunday, June 29, until 5am on Friday, July 11.
