Businesses and residents are being praised for their festive giving in helping raise more than £10,137 for charity as part of Strathcarron Hospice’s tree recycling fundraising campaign.
-
People paid a donation via JustHelping to have their real Christmas tree collected in aid of Strathcarron and a range of generous local businesses volunteered their staff and transport to assist with the collection of the 569 trees.
The trees were all taken to be recycled by Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC, in Bo'ness.
