A new digital business hub is set to be established in Callander thanks to a massive £790,000 boost from the Stirling and Clackmannanshire City Region Deal.

- CHRIS MARZELLA

The new facility will be housed within the same building as the Stirling Council-run Callander Library on South Church Street.

It will make use of previously unused spaces across both floors and offer fresh office accommodation, hot-desking facilities, training rooms and event venues for local firms and those in nearby areas.

The design and amenities have been shaped by comprehensive discussions with residents and other important partners, aiming to give businesses adaptable access to a top-quality, cooperative and inviting space that enables them to connect, expand and draw in funding.

The scheme is being backed by the Scottish Government via the Stirling and Clackmannanshire City Region Deal - a £214million collaboration between Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils, the University of Stirling and both the UK and Scottish Governments.
