A three-day Induction Training Programme for 282 newly placed Headmasters of Jammu Division concluded on Friday at Government Polytechnic College, Jammu.

The programme, held from 2nd to 4th July 2025, was organized by the School Leadership Academy (SLA) of SCERT-J&K, Jammu in collaboration with DIET Jammu, aligning with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The training focused on leadership, pedagogy, inclusivity, and school governance, aiming to build a cadre of empowered school leaders to drive educational transformation at the grassroots level.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by the presence of Shantmanu, Financial Commissioner (ACS), Director, SCERT-J&K.
The event began with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Sindhu Kapoor, Joint Director, SCERT Jammu Division. She reiterated SCERT Jammu's unwavering commitment to empowering both teachers and Heads of Institutions to ensure equitable and quality education.
This was followed by the presentation of the detailed report of the program by Monika Dogra.
