GDC Surankote holds 'Plant for Peace' Ceremony

In a region that has witnessed periods of unrest and challenge, Government Degree College Surankote introduced a profoundly symbolic event on International Biodiversity Day the "Plant for Peace" Ceremony. Spearheaded by the college's Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Rani Mughal, an ardent environmentalist, the initiative wove together ecological restoration with emotional healing.

Organized in collaboration with the NCC Unit of GDC Surankote, the event saw active participation from NCC cadets who played a leading role in the plantation drive. Their discipline, enthusiasm, and commitment set a powerful example of youth-led environmental and social responsibility.
