Yalcouye is the villain as shot-shy Swans drop more points

Swansea's Malick Yalcouve is shown a red card after an altercation with Steve Cook

The visitors took the lead midway inside the first half through Rumarn Burrell, before Yalcouye was dismissed following a clash with Rangers defender Steve Cook.

QPR had their chances to extend the lead, with the post denying Jimmy Dunne an eye-catching strike from distance, although Swansea could well have snatched a point at the death, with Zan Vipotnik's near post header denied by visiting goalkeeper Paul Nardi.

The result means Swansea have racked up just one win in their last seven, which will be a cause for concern ahead of the visit of Norwich City this weekend.

Adam Idah was handed his first league start as part of three changes made by Swans boss Alan Sheehan, presumably in a bid to refresh a forward line that looked so blunt against Southampton last time out.

However, it was the visitors that started on the front foot.
