Tandy's beautiful! Tiatia's tribute to one-time colleague

DRAGONS boss Filo Tiatia has backed Steve Tandy to be a success as head coach of Wales.

Tiatia was a teammate of Tandy during his time at the Ospreys and is well placed to comment on his suitability for the top job.

And he is confident Tandy will do well after being named as the man to replace Warren Gatland.

"I can only speak highly of Tandy, he’s a beautiful man," said Tiatia (circled, below).

"I've played five seasons with him, coached with him at the Ospreys and coached against them when he was with the Waratahs.

"Around collaboration he’s awesome. He's a big learner.

"Motivation is learning and he wants to keep improving but also improve the people who's around.

"He's a very uplifting coach, very caring but also very demanding where you need to be and I wish him all the best.

"Karen and the girls, they’ve left Scotland, they're coming home, they've moved to Cardiff, they're not going to rest down in Tonmawr, and I know that Tonmawr residents aren't very happy with that!"
