Tandy is the right man for the Wales job - Henson

FORMER Wales centre Gavin Henson has endorsed Steve Tandy as the ideal candidate to lead Wales, but cautioned that the new head coach will face challenging times ahead.

Tandy is set to take charge of Wales for the first time in November when they square off against Argentina, Japan, New Zealand and South Africa in Cardiff.
Under the interim guidance of Matt Sherratt, who now forms part of Tandy’s support team, Wales managed to break their 18-match losing run with a victory over Japan in July.
Henson (pictured), who was a teammate of Tandy at Ospreys, admitted he hadn't predicted that his former colleague would become a coach.
“Steve Tandy has done unbelievable stuff since he finished his playing days,” Henson told BBC Sport.
