Strike threat resolved as bus drivers accept revised First offer

THE looming threat of widespread bus strikes across South West Wales has finally been resolved.
-
First Bus Cymru has announced that its latest revised offer has been accepted by staff.
A long-running dispute has seen staff demand a pay award of £15 per hour to bring them in line with Cardiff Bus and Arriva in North Wales.
It was due to affect services in Carmarthenshire, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
