Sarah Helin, from Swansea, is remembered by her family as a “funny and loving” woman whose world revolved around her children.

Speaking to the Post, Sarah's daughter, Jasmine White, described her mother as “one in a million”, and wholly devoted to her and her brother, Jacob.

“She had such a beautiful soul,” she said. “She was so strong and looked after me and my brother all on her own. She did the absolute most she ever could do for us. She always wanted to do what made us happy and I will never forget that.”

Jasmine said that the bond they shared was unlike any other. “It was always just the three of us,” she explained.

“We would go on little family outings, whether that was to the beach or just a drive up the Mumbles. She always liked to take us out for food. That’s something I’m really going to miss - spending time together as a family.”

To Jasmine, her mother had been far more than a parent.
