LATE DRAMA SEES SWANS DENIED POINT

DRAMATIC endings just won't leave Swansea City alone.

LATE DRAMA SEES SWANS DENIED POINT

In their previous Championship encounter they saw Hull City snatch a point with a 97th-minute equaliser.

Then in midweek two stoppage-time goals from Alan Sheehan’s side saw them defeat Nottingham Forest 3-2 and progress to the last 16 of the Carabao Cup.

And at Birmingham there was more late drama, with Lyndon Dykes’ goal in the fourth minute of added time denying Swansea the point their performance had deserved.

Tt was tough on the visitors who looked set to continue their decent start to the season. But Dykes’ late effort saw them drop to 10th in the table.

Scotland international Dykes produced a trademark far post header from Patrick Roberts's cross four minutes into overtime as the hosts bounced back from two league defeats.

Dykes was introduced from the bench with just a few moments to play and made the difference as Chris Davies’ side made their second-half pressure tell.
