Investigation after man dies in prison

THE death of a young inmate at HMP Swansea is being investigated.
Kian Parmee was a “kind, loving, thoughtful young man who touched so many lives”, his family said in a tribute.
The 22-year-old, from Trehafod in Rhondda Cynon Taf, died on July 18.
The prison service told the Post: “As with all deaths in custody the Prison and Probation Ombudsman will investigate.”
A spokesman for Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court said Mr Parmee had been remanded in custody on a charge of stalking without fear, alarm, or distress.
