Hammers recall Casey from loan spell at Swans

Kaelan Casey has been recalled to London by West Ham United

The Hammers are understood to have been mulling over a possible return for the centre-back for the last couple of weeks, and have been disappointed by the amount of game time afforded to the youngster.

Casey has made just three league starts since arriving on a season-long loan, and it’s likely he’ll be shipped out somewhere else this month in search of more first team minutes.

Confirming the decision, Swans boss Matos said: “He's gone back to West Ham. It’s already done. West Ham made the decision, and now it’s about what's best for Casey, I think.

“It’s always about expectations and where they are in terms of development. What the parent club wants as well for him and then trying to find the best out of that.
