COUNTY SUFFER MORE MISERY

HAVERFORDWEST County appear to be in freefall after losing a fifth game in a row for the first time in the JD Cymru Premier.

Their 1-0 defeat at Stebonheath against newly-promoted Llanelli Town saw them slump to the bottom of the table less than eight weeks after they represented Wales in the Uefa Conference League after finishing third last season.

‘Their latest fall from grace followed defeats to The New Saints, Colwyn Bay, Connah's Quay Nomads and Barry Town United.

In those games they have conceded 15 goals and scored only three.

“It's down to us, the table doesn't lie)’ said County boss Tony Pennock.

“We are bottom of the league and there is a lot of work to do.

“You can’t win games if you don’t score goals, and we have to be better at defending our box.

“If you have 15 attempts at goal and 13 corners you should get something out of the game.

“It's another night that things didn’t fall for us.
