Blaze that devastated beauty spot hotel was 'caused by accident'

A FIRE that ripped through the top half of one of the most famous hotels in Wales has now been confirmed to be accidental.
While the hotel's owner has vowed to “raise it from the ashes”, the local authority has closed a nearby road for around three weeks.
The alarm was raised during the early hours of July 14 when an incident was reported to the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue services at Worm’s Head Hotel in Rhossili.
While no casualties were reported, the fire that started within the property's accommodation block spread to the block's entire roof surface.
A multi-agency response to the incident involved South Wales Police and crews from several fire stations.
