Man fined almost £500 for using car jet washer where he shouldn't

ACTION has been taken against a garage worker in Lincolnshire who was using a jet washer outside of a designated area.

Rodney Stanford, of Anwick Car Sales, in Sleaford, received a breach of notice from North Kesteven District Council on October 24, 2024, after allegations of "repeated and blatant breaches of a planning condition.

The business was granted permission by the council in March 2022, as long as mechanical equipment was operated in the workshop car wash area to ensure occupants of neighbouring residential properties would not be impacted. However, there were concerns that excessive spray was being produced by the jet washer.
