Ditch the chocolate and devour carrot sticks - this month has its teeth into snacking habits.

Organised by the British Nutrition Foundation, Snack-tember aims help children and young people, aged from five to 16 years, make and choose healthier, more sustainable snacks.

Though aimed at the younger generation, all of us may benefit from taking a month out of munching on biscuits and crisps.
