A major South Tyneside manufacturing business has received the 'maintaining excellence - ambassador status' award for the second consecutive year in the Better Health at Work Awards (BHAWA).
A regional initiative, it is designed to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage employers to consider the health of its employees.
South Shields-based Ford Aerospace is a passionate advocate of the BHAWA programme.
Assessors praised Ford Aerospace for its ongoing commitment to health and well-being, which is clearly supported by its Wellbeing Committee and health advocates, as well as its many proactive campaigns.
