Care home staff celebrate 'good' inspection rating

A South Tyneside care home has been classed as 'good' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as it awarded its second highest rating possible.
Colleagues at Palmersdene care home celebrate its rating.
The team at Anchor's Palmersdene care home on Grange Road West in Jarrow were celebrating after receiving the accolade.
Palmersdene received high marks in the three categories inspected and rated.
The CQC inspectors were impressed by colleagues at the facility displaying person-centred care whilst supporting people to maintain independence.
Inspectors added that colleagues worked well together and promoted healthier lives.
