Go North East aims to inspire women with its new initiative

A North East bus firm is aiming to put more women in the driving seat in a traditionally male-dominated industry.

Go North East says it is aiming to transform perceptions of the transport industry and inspire a generation of women to step into careers as drivers, engineers and managers.

The initiative-Inner Qualities-has been designed and developed by women colleagues at Go North East, the region's largest transport employer, and was launched with the message "They say she can't. We say she can."
