Police officer smelled drugs coming from car he stopped in street

EX-STEELWORKER SOLD DRUGS TO EASE DEBTS
A POLICE officer in a patrol car became suspicious after he requested a driver to stop and smelled cannabis coming from inside the vehicle.
The officer recovered an Aldi bag-for-life containing cannabis and a mobile phone. It later showed the occupant had been dealing cannabis.
Jordan May, 32, formerly of Coverdale Road, Scunthorpe, admitted two offences of possession with intent to supply cannabis.
The offences dated from January 26, 2021.
No explanation was given in court for the length of time it had taken for the sentencing hearing to be scheduled.
