A MARTIAL arts centre is looking to expand into a bigger facility in Brigg.

Koku-Ryu Martial Arts has applied for planning permission for change of use of a unit at Ancholme Business Park, off Atherton Way, from storage and distribution to a martial arts and fitness training facility.

The martial arts centre is currently based in Island Carr Road, Brigg, as well as having locations elsewhere in North Lincolnshire, including Barton. It runs a range of classes, including traditional and freestyle karate, kickboxing and MMA.

The planning proposal would involve internal changes only. A matted training area would be created, as well as a reception and seating area and office and welfare facilities, including loos.
