It's time for Buddies to be heroes

The Buddies boss is looking to land his first trophy as boss when he sends his team out to face Celtic.

And he says the iconic status that lies in wait for his players should they produce a shock surrounds them every day.

Pictures of the Saints side that lifted the trophy in 2013 and the 1987 Scottish Cup heroes are plastered all around the Ralston training base and SMiSA Stadium.

And Robinson says belief is rife they can join their predecessors as Paisley pinups by winning the club's fifth major trophy.

He said: "We know the past. Those teams are lauded and rightly so are held in great esteem here.
