LEGEND PANESAR IS BOWLED OVER BY ENGLAND'S NEW SPIN STAR
"REVELATION" Will Jacks could help spin England to victory at the T20 World Cup. That's the verdict of ex-England star Monty Panesar, with Jacks having played a key role to help Harry Brook's men reach the semifinals.
Off-spinner Jacks claimed two important wickets against New Zealand on Friday before he and his fellow all-rounders were tasked with picking up the pieces in the batting once again.
After struggling openers Jos Buttler and Phil Salt fell early, Jacks got England over the line by striking up a dazzling late partnership with Rehan Ahmed.
The 27-year-old was England's surprise pick for the Ashes and played four Tests in Australia and Panesar, who knows a thing or two about spin bowling, reckons that belief has been a massive boost to Jacks’ confidence.
Panesar, speaking ahead of the launch of BallsApp, said: "I believe that Will Jacks has been a real revelation on this trip.
