United can Basque in a Bilbao return after job well done

Ruben Amorim’s men came from behind to sink Athletic Bilbao 4-1-and their reward will be a return to the Basque city for an all-English showdown with Spurs on May 21.

Substitute Mason Mount equalised with 18 minutes remaining before Casemiro’s glancing header put United 2-1 ahead on the night.

And as the clock ticked down, Rasmus Hojlund got in on the act before Mount got a second to seal United’s place in their first European final since 2021.
