Trump sends in soldiers to quell LA raids unrest

DONALD Trump has sent 2,000 soldiers to crack down on riots in Los Angeles following protests over raids on undocumented migrants.

He claimed local officials “can’t do their jobs” after tear gas, stun guns and riot shields were used to push back demonstrators yesterday.

Protests began outside the Federal Building in LA on Friday after the Immigration and Customs Enforcement carried out raids.

Confrontations broke out on Saturday in the heavily Latino city of Paramount, where federal agents were gathering at a Department of Homeland Security office nearby.

They unleashed tear gas, flash-bang explosives and pepper balls, while protesters hurled rocks and cement.
