Trump: alleged Turnberry vandals 'terrorists'

DONALD TRUMP has labelled people accused of vandalising the Trump Turnberry golf resort as "terrorists".

Grafitti was sprayed on the clubhouse in red paint and the course was dug up and daubed with the words "Gaza is not for sale" last month.

The US president said those who caused damage at the Ayrshire resort in the early hours of March 8 should be “treated harshly” by authorities.

A 33-year-old man appeared in court over the incident yesterday.

Kieran Robson, 33, of Galashiels in the Borders, appeared in private at Ayr Sheriff Court and was charged with malicious mischief. He made no plea and was released on bail pending a further court date.
