Thelin taking his time to get right Dons in

JIMMY THELIN is prepared to go to the wire to get the right players to enhance his Scottish Cup-winning Aberdeen squad.

The Dons boss is looking to bring in another four players in this window - with AC Milan's Serbian forward Marko Lazetic still high on his radar.

Thelin did a lot of his summer business early but has a strict criteria of the character he wants in a squad that will face the rigours of the three domestic competitions and European group stage football.

The Dons go into the Europa League playoff round later this month, when they will play the winners of the FCSSB and Drita tie.

Thelin, who is preparing for the visit of champions Celtic this weekend, said: “Sometimes you have to work on things, but most important is the way you want to work and the profiles.
