DEMPSEY SPELLS IT OUT AHEAD OF PARIS FINALE
BACK-ROW battler Jack Dempsey has issued a stark warning to his Scotland team-mates ahead of Saturday’s Six Nations match in Paris: if we switch off like we did against Wales, the French will kill us.
Scotland hung on last week against the Welsh to win 35-29 after being 35-8 up. But Wales are on the worst losing run in their history — while France are going for the title.
So Glasgow No 8 Dempsey is sure there can be no half measures in the Stade de France against opponents who are in brilliant form. And he highlighted one lapse that went unpunished by Wales — but is sure to be punished severely by the French.
