STEVEN PRESSLEY may be on the wrong side of 50 but he says he’ll never be too old to learn after vowing to tap into Gordon Strachan’s years of management wisdom.

The new Dundee manager has landed his first club job in Scotland since he was at the helm of Falkirk in 2013.

He did a decent job as he helped the Bairns to three successive third-place finishes in the old First Division.

But Pressley admits he wouldn’t have achieved nearly as much in his first coaching posting without the sage advice of managerial doyen Alex Smith at the other end of the corridor.

The former St Mirren, Aberdeen, Dundee United and Scotland Under-21 boss was serving as the club’s technical director at that time.
