Teen ace knew he had to do better
IF THERE'S one thing Mikey Moore didn’t want to hear, it was people telling him where he was going wrong and what he had to do better to make it at Rangers.
Not when the on-loan Spurs kid had already had that very honest conversation with himself.
The 18-year-old certainly didn't need anyone spelling out that his early displays under Russell Martin were nowhere near the standard required at Ibrox.
But that’s not to say he didn't appreciate the encouragement new boss Danny Rohl has offered since he arrived eight weeks ago.
In fact, it's been that combination of Moore's own awareness of his shortcomings and the confidence-boosting sit downs with the German boss that has led to the highly-rated Londoner producing the kind of displays that had Martin so excited when securing his signature in the first place.
It was at Easter Road at the end of October in a 1-0 victory that Moore found the form that led to his breakthrough year with Tottenham Hotspur last term.
Now, as he prepares to face Hibs again at Ibrox tonight, Moore says he’s happy to at long last be doing his talking on the pitch.

IT'S A FAMILY AFFAIR
A little goes a very long way in the third chapter of director James Cameron's blockbusting franchise. Avatar: Fire And Ash is a masterclass in candyfloss storytelling, expertly fluffing around an hour of linear plot and character development into more than three hours of jaw-dropping visual spectacle that continues to push the envelope for performance capture technology.
