Sex pest claim is factor in case of suspended MSP

SCOTTISH Labour MSP Foysol Choudhury was suspended after claims of sexual harassment were made against him by a younger woman, it was reported last night.

Mr Choudhury is facing the allegation after a complaint by a Holyrood staffer.

It emerged over the weekend that Mr Choudhury is sitting as an independent MSP after he was suspended over an allegation of inappropriate conduct.

However, no details of the nature of the claims were provided by the party.

Last night, our sister paper the Daily Record said the complaint includes an allegation of sexual harassment.
