Robinson 'refused to hand over his phone Pin to police

FAR-RIGHT activist Tommy Robinson refused to give police the Pin number for his phone because it contained “journalist material", his trial heard yesterday.

The defendant - real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon - was driving a silver Bentley SUV to Benidorm on July 28 when he was stopped at the Channel Tunnel in Folkestone.

Police were suspicious of his "vague replies" about what he was doing and his lack of eye contact and demanded access to his iPhone under Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act, Westminster Magistrates' Court heard.
