Findlay: Chance of new deal? It'd be no-brainer

STUART FINDLAY says he would jump at the chance to extend his Hearts contract.

The defender, who joined on loan from Oxford in the summer, insists the feelgood factor in Gorgie and the promise of more to come would make the decision a “no-brainer” and, he hopes, boost his Scotland chances.

Since reuniting with his former Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes, Findlay, 30, has been on a high.

Sitting top of the league, having moved three points clear of Celtic with a superb victory in Glasgow, the Jambos head to Falkirk this evening, looking to capitalise on their Parkhead rivals’ league inaction and extend that lead.

A free agent in the summer, it is clear where Findlay’s long-term ambitions lie.
