Father and son given gold medals for bravery
A HERO father and son who rescued children from a burning house have been honoured for their bravery.
Rory and Andrew Macgregor were two of three Scots to be presented with a gold medal at the National Police Chiefs' Council annual Police Public Bravery Awards.
The pair, aged 63 and 25, rescued two children from a burning building in Methven, near Perth, in August 2023, after they heard screaming.
The heroic duo also found two other people injured in the house as they searched the property before emergency services arrived.
