Parliament firm sued by cleaner on 17-hour days

A CLEANER at the Houses of Parliament sued her bosses after she was fired when it emerged that she had been working an incredible 17 hours a day for 16 years.

Mulikat Ogumodede did the day shift at Deutsche Bank, from 8am to 5pm, then the night shift at Westminster, from 10pm until 6am.

An employment tribunal in Central London heard she “deliberately” failed to tell bosses she had two jobs.

And her claims for unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, redundancy pay and unlawful deduction from wages were all rejected.
