Cole orchestrates a Chelsea revival to win another Euro cup

SO MUCH of this match was all about one of football's European greats.

And yet, ultimately, Cole Palmer stepped up to steal the show and prove his quality to write another chapter in Chelsea's glorious history.

Palmer set up the first two Chelsea goals with wonderful assists for Enzo Fernandez and Nicolas Jackson as Enzo Maresca's men completed a clean sweep of European trophies.

It turned the game completely on its head from an occasion which was slipping away from the London club because of the sheer brilliance of Real Betis captain Isco.

The former Real Madrid legend, 33, a five-time Champions League winner,ran the show and it looked as if Real Betis would enjoy a fairytale night and their first major European trophy in Wroclaw.

But it is in adversity when the great players step forward and Palmer just took the game by the scruff of its neck and turned it on its head.
