Nice cool Christmas would be Paradise!

DEATH in Paradise’s Don Gilet has revealed what his ideal Christmas present would be while filming in the Caribbean: an air conditioning unit.

The 58-year-old took over from Ralf Little during last year’s Christmas special, joining the Saint Marie police department as DI Mervin Wilson and has revealed he is still not used to filming in the 30C Guadeloupe heat.

Speaking ahead of this year’s festive episode, he said: “The best Christmas present that I could get is aircon.

“But we just do it, we’re used to being out there in the heat. If you start thinking about how hot it is, you're going to keel over.”
