Aussie in pole after Rohl's withdrawl

KEVIN MUSCAT is leading the race to become the next manager of Rangers after Danny Rohl withdrew from the interview process last night.

The former Sheffield Wednesday boss informed Light Blue chiefs that he no longer wished to be considered for the position and is now pursuing other European options.

The road would now appear clear for Aussie Muscat to finally land the job he came close to securing two years ago. However, the timing of his potential arrival remains unclear.
