LAZETIC'S LOVING TAKING ON THE BEST

MARKO LAZETIC is probably one of the few Aberdeen players who was genuinely delighted with their nightmare Conference League draw.

Statistically, the Dons couldn't have landed a tougher task, and have already lost to Shakhtar Donetsk and being annihilated by AEK Athens.

They now face AEK Larnaca tomorrow, before taking on Noah, Strasbourg and Sparta Prague.

The former AC Milan striker, however, is relishing the chance to show they can compete with the best.

"I grew up playing in Red Star Belgrade," said the 21-year-old.

"It's pressure since you start playing at seven years old, because that’s a club who cannot lose games, so I love those types of games.

"When we were doing the draw for the games, I was hoping we'd get the best teams, because I didn’t want to go into the Conference League and play just around any easier teams just to win.
