Warren says to forget Well's style as the most spectacular aspect of Hibs' weekend game was the ability of their star ace Kieron

IT'S not that Hibs star Warren O'Hora doesn't buy the hype around Motherwell, it's just that he doesn't particularly care.

But when it comes to Kieron Bowie, the Easter Road defender can certainly see why there is so much excitement building around the frontman's future.

The Bowie buzz has increased again after Saturday's strike earned his side a point in their battle to contain Berthel-Askou Ball.

The £6.5million-rated striker was already being tipped for a Scotland World Cup slot and a January move away from Leith even before he bagged a ninth goal of the campaign against the Steelmen.

Those calls are unlikely to die down any time soon.

But teammate O'Hora has been glad to see the 23-year-old take a leaf out of his book by paying no attention to the transfer gossip that has been filling page after page in this week's newspapers.

And he's backing his pal to force his way on to the plane carrying Steve Clarke's national team to North America this summer.

He said: "With Bowie, he just needs to focus on himself. Obviously, he should be right to have his eye on the World Cup.

"I think every player with a chance would be looking at that and making sure he's firing for that.

"I'm delighted that he got his goal on Saturday. The thing with Bowie and the way he is as a person, as a professional, he won't get ahead of himself. He'll focus on where he's at just now, which is working hard, trying to improve all the time. That's just the type of character he is.

"That's why everybody in the dressing room respects him so much. He's been brilliant for us since he's come in.
