Grooming gang used teen schoolgirls as sex slaves

THESE seven men have been convicted of raping and assaulting two white underage Rochdale schoolgirls.

The grooming gang preyed on their vulnerabilities to make them “sex slaves” from the age of 13 between 2001 and 2006. Both girls had “troubled home lives” and were given drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and places to stay, Manchester Crown Court heard.

They were expected to have sex “whenever and wherever” the seven and other men wanted - in filthy flats, on rancid mattresses, in alleys, car parks and disused warehouses.

Jurors returned unanimous guilty verdicts yesterday after three weeks.
