Celebrate the 50th anniversary of a comedy classic

When The Good Life first aired 50 years ago, it became a huge hit with viewers - and royalty.

The show followed Tom and Barbara Good as they quit the rat race to be self-sufficient, while neighbours Margo and Jerry enjoyed the trappings of a middle-class lifestyle.

This feature-length retrospective celebrates the sitcom classic and is narrated by Dame Penelope Keith, who played Margo. "I look back on it as one of the happiest times with this amazing atmosphere of laughter," she says.
