Girl, 3, hurt in Heathrow spray attack

A TODDLER was among 21 people injured when a gang used pepper spray on a woman while stealing her suitcase at Heathrow airport.

Armed police were dispatched after reports of an assault by a group of men at Terminal 3’s multi-storey car park yesterday morning.

Scotland Yard later said the spray was used in a lift and that a man aged 31 had been arrested.

Those hurt included a three-year-old girl, it added. Five people were taken to hospital but their injuries were not life changing or life threatening.

The man detained on suspicion of assault remained in police custody yesterday evening.
