Father may be target as daughter is dating boss

THE father of the girlfriend of the Scots gangster orchestrating the underworld feud may have become a target.

George Newell’s black taxi was damaged in a fire while it was parked outside the family home last week. It’s understood his daughter Olivia is dating Ross ‘Miami’ McGill and has moved to Dubai where he lives.

McGill, 31, is believed to be the central figure behind the gangland war that has torn through Scotland in recent months.

The incident occurred last Wednesday night in the city's Kings Park district.
