Family firm in 'crippling' £5m bill thanks to Labour's farm tax

A FAMILY business in Aberdeenshire faces a “crippling” £5million tax bill when Labour’s inheritance tax changes come into force next year, it has emerged.

Scots Tory MP Harriet Cross was told about the impending bill during a meeting with a rural business in her Gordon and Buchan constituency.

She said it underlined the “catastrophic” consequences of the UK Government's decision.
