Drugs millionaire facing jail after Morocco arrest

A SCOT involved in a multi-million pound drug trafficking operation was behind bars last night after being extradited from Morocco.

Conor McGregor, 32, boasted about making millions from his illicit deals.

At the High Court in Glasgow, he admitted being involved in organised crime.

McGregor was the leader of an organised crime group, based in Moray, involved in sourcing and distributing cocaine and heroin. He used encrypted network Encrochat to source safe houses. McGregor, who was living in Spain, was caught after European law enforcement cracked the network.

The court heard Police Scotland led an assault on the gang, who had links to the west of Scotland.
